We were excited to welcome two heli-dining parties to The Duck this weekend.

For the helicopter lovers amongst you, they were a G-HEHE and a G-SSCL.

If you are interested in a heli-dining experience, we welcome private helicopter owners and self-fly hire pilots for pre-arranged visits. We have also partnered with Polar Helicopters in Manston to offer helicopter dining experiences and gift vouchers.

There are two helipad areas, so we can accommodate two helicopters at a time.

Now we are open longer, so there is more time for you to enjoy lunch.

This week we have a special dish, 'Pork Schnitzel with lemon and parsley sauce, and mustard potato salad'. Chef Kyle regularly creates new dishes to take advantage of seasonal and local produce.

Or why not treat yourself to a mid-week treat with our lunch set menu - 2 courses for £25 or 3 courses for £30. Dishes change regularly.

Don't forget it's Father's Day on 21st June. We still have a few tables left for our breakfast event and for Roast Lunch...

Couple of quick reminders... Next Tuesday (16th) is our big quiz night. Entry is only £2 per person with teams of up to 6. New teams are always welcome - the regular teams like a bit of healthy competition :-)
And next Friday (19th) is our second live music event for this year. We'll be welcoming local band 'High Tide' to the garden stage and the charcoal BBQ will be running.

New Date Announced - Our next free live music event is Friday 19th June.

The fantastic acoustic trio High Tide will be performing on the outdoor stage, and we'll be running the charcoal BBQ from 6pm. The restaurant will also be open for indoor full menu options.

You can book a table inside the restaurant. Tables in the garden cannot be reserved, so come early.

Dogs and children are welcome.

Exciting News! From tomorrow, 3rd June, we will be serving food all day! So you can now enjoy a late lunch or an early dinner!

From Wednesdays to Saturdays, we'll be serving food from 12pm until 9pm.
And Sundays from 12pm until 5pm.

And, longer hours mean more opportunities for you to sample all our latest additions to the menu... have you tried our Venison T Bone... with garlic, anchovy, caper emulsion and kale? It is a real treat.

If your work offices are in or around Canterbury, we are the perfect spot for team or client lunch events, offering you flexibility on seating times, with no rush to leave early.

We welcome walk-ins, but we recommend you book a table to avoid disappointment.

Father's Day Weekend Events... With just three weeks until Father's Day, have you got lunch out booked yet?

We have a whole weekend of celebrations planned, so even more ways to treat the special Father figures in your life.

Friday - Live Music from acoustic trio High Tide and BBQ, plus the restaurant is open for indoor full menu options.
Saturday - We're open 12pm - 9pm for lunch and dinner, offering set lunch, a la carte and classic menu choices.
Sunday Morning - We have a special Fry-Up Breakfast from 10am until 11.30am.
Sunday Lunch - Traditional Roast served - Book your table from 12pm until 5pm.

So, bring your Dads, Grandads, Step-Dads, Uncles, and anyone you think deserves celebrating and thanking!

Children and dogs are welcome all weekend, and we have a special Ducklings menu for the smaller children in your group.
