The Shakespeare Pub in Butchery Lane is a laid back bar serving some of the finest beers and wines
(664)

Where possible, we source all of our ingredients locally, and use only 100% British Beef. Our specalist Ales are brewed just 10 miles away in the local town of Faversham, and even our bar nibbles are made right here, in the heart of Kent. On Friday and Saturday nights we play host to some of the UK's finest DJ's playing a selection of balearic, nu disco and deep house.

🍷 W**e of the Week 🍷

With the Canterbury chill well and truly here, it’s the perfect time to swap the cold for a cosy corner and a great glass of w**e.

This week we’re pouring Cortese Frappato from Sicily; an organic, light-bodied red bursting with notes of fresh strawberries and sweet herbs. Smooth, elegant and wonderfully easy-drinking, it’s the kind of w**e that makes dark autumn evenings feel a little warmer.
Available by the glass or bottle all week.
