A wake for darren will be held at the king street run from 4pm on Friday (20th). Sadly due to the numbers being able to fit into the chapel the funeral is invitation only. It will be live streamed for those who would like,the details are below.

Whilst we are all still in shock at the terribly sad news of the passing of Darren Douglas and words are very difficult at such a sad time. We would like to share a page set up by his brother Sam and ask that you show your love by donating generously.

Darren worked behind the bar at the King Street Run for a number of years, where he was known for being great with customers and warmly loved by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. His friendly nature, kindness, and easy manner made him a familiar and cherished face to many. Darren displayed a real passion for the Pub trade, his music and his artwork and he excelled in all three areas bringing so many good times to so many.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and the wider King Street Run community. He will always remain a big part of the Run Family and take comfort that he spent his last evening with us, where he felt so at home.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Sheena and Darren’s loved ones during this difficult time.
