Certainly a longer gap in performances than we'd have liked but we take our first step out into the summer on Sun 7th June at the Elm Tree in Cambridge. Lovely pub, great selection of beers, be great to see some faces🍻

By lucky chance, we got some more of this fine stuff, just in time for the beer festival! Absolutely delicious and rarer than rocking-horse poo!

A real bucket-list beer, available at the Elm Tree this week!

After a really full schedule this month, June's programme is much more sparse! All three are well-worth coming along to, in three very different styles - and entry is free-of-charge, as usual.

See you soon!

There was an error in the May listing I published a couple of weeks ago.

Sunday 24th is a performance by George Breakfast, not Soloman Smith and Chris Newman - their gig is now on the 16th of August. Sorry for any confusion.

Here is the correct lineup for May.

Here is next month's line-up of live music at the Elm Tree! It's a really busy month, with five Sunday evening gigs, plus - the only time he could fit us in - a Saturday afternoon song and story event with Alan Daniel Tobin as he passes through the east of England.

We also welcome back many brilliant musicians who have played here in the past, and a newcomer to the Elm, Miguel Zambujeira performing his own modern folk-inspired songs - I really can't wait for this one!

Hope to see you soon!

I'm putting down my crochet hooks (for a little while) and preparing to return to our little home away from home The Elm Tree! Romy Gensale, Jo Ash and I are back to do our thang...we plan to make you laugh, cry and think "what the hell are they talking about now?!"! Names out of a hat will determine the order in which we play. Sunday 19th April - hope to see you there :-)

We've got a limited quantity of the legendary Belgian beer Westvleteren 12 here at the Elm Tree.

This beer is often called the best beer in the world, and it is very hard to come by. The monks who brew it make enough to support their abbey, not enough to meet demand, so finding it in an English pub is unusual to say the least.

Smash those piggy banks and get down here!

This week’s spotlight The Elm Tree, Cambridge
The Elm Tree in Cambridge, is a must visit pub for any beer lover. It’s a proper candle lit back street establishment with one of the largest selections of Belgian beers in Cambridge and a perfectly curated list of real ales.

Often showcasing some of the finest local (and further afield) musicians it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a pint of our “Pass The Porter” and soak up the local and welcoming atmosphere. Next time you visit the City, make sure you stop by!
