Today’s Brewery Spotlight 🔦

stancillbrewery is an independent micro-brewery based in Sheffield. Founded in 2014, the brewery operates out of Parkwood Industrial Estate. It was famously built by rescuing and relocating the entirety of the historic Oakwell Brewery’s equipment from Barnsley. This saved loads of legendary local recipes like Barnsley Bitter from being lost!

On the bar … we have their ‘Mild Steel’ at 3.5%. It features a light, dry bitterness and uses all British hops to capture the crisp characteristics of the Stancill’s flagship ‘Stainless’ pale ale but at a much lower, sessionable ABV.
