The Red Lion is a traditional Village Pub with traditional values and standards of service. We now find ourselves in somewhat of a niche market offering old fashioned service in a local Public House - in a charming Village , and keeping in touch with locals and visitor alike. We offer home cooked food daily - Tuesday to Friday from 12 - 2.30pm. We can also cater for pre-booked parties of 10 or more for a delicious home cooked traditional roast Sunday Lunch in our first floor restaurant. We can also offer private dining for lunch or dinner in our first floor restaurant/function suite with private bar and separate buffet room. We can provide a full "sit-down" menu or a full buffet service if required - prepared with care and attention by our resident Thanet Tech qualified Chef. Please feel free to make an appointment to view the facilities or to discuss your requirements for any special occasion. Being opposite the beautiful church of St Peters it is an ideal venue for Christenings - Weddings - etc., and of course wakes. We are very dog friendly and even have a dog treats jar on the bar ! We have free high speed WiFi connection . There are complimentary newspapers and complimentary toiletries in the washrooms. We have recently had a complete refurbishment of the entire building inside and out .
