Mr Quizzer,

Firstly, we’d like to thank you for the time and effort you’ve given over the years and acknowledge the amount raised for local charities during that period.

The Northwood Club has always supported community events and charity fundraising, and we were pleased to provide a venue for those quiz nights over many years.

That said, we do not recognise the suggestion that disruption or poor behaviour has been encouraged or accepted. Whenever concerns have been raised, we have tried to deal with them appropriately and fairly.

It’s disappointing that things have reached this point, but we respect your decision and wish you well with future events and fundraising.

We’d also like to thank all members, quiz teams and supporters who attended and helped make the evenings successful.
