I came up with an idea earlier today & put it out there, then realised from the feedback that there are already efforts being made on this very same issue..
With this in mind I am suggesting it will be good to get behind this venue & maybe try to raise some funds again slightly closer to Christmas.

They have a huge space & can accommodate a lot of people & still have tickets available.
The Harbour at Totterdown are so happy to welcome the wonderful Ukraine Solidarity Jazz Band to Bristol for the first time. They have been touring the UK, playing for free and raising huge amounts for locally based Ukrainian Charities wherever they go.
Ukraine Solidarity Jazz Band:

with special guest Kyrylo Avilov on alto saxophone.
The Ukraine Solidarity Jazz Band play some of their own compositions, Ukrainian folk songs and all manner of jazz standards, predominantly from the Swing Era. There will be a short, fun complete beginners swing dance class to get everyone up on the floor before they start playing.
On this occasion, they have chosen Bristol4Ukraine. I guess the clue is in the title! They take regular shipments of pretty much anything that is needed in Ukraine; asked for by Ukrainians from all walks of life, including the Military.
The event will be opened by the wonderful, Traditional Ukrainian Choir SVITLO.
A real treat, not to be missed. Ukraine has a rich heritage of Folk Music, with over 200,000 catalogued folk songs to choose from! Svitlo will sing some of their favourities and encourage people to join in if you know the words.
SVITLO is a Ukrainian women’s choir sharing Ukraine’s rich musical heritage with audiences across the UK and bringing people together through song. Its founder, artistic leader and vocalist, Olha Koptieva, is a professional musician and trained conductor.
Introducing Wild Bloom, contemporary Ukrainian favourites. Four voices, four personalities, one Wild Bloom. Rooted in Ukraine and open to the world, Wild Bloom UK sings across languages and styles, bringing close harmonies, playful energy and heartfelt moments to the stage.
Tea, Coffee, Ukrainian Cakes and traditional homemade Borscht!
