Turns out the Barrel Store isn’t just a beer place. We’ve also got an espresso martini on the menu, for whoever in your group insists they “just don’t like beer” and never has a good reason why.

Sunshine, botanicals and a bit of blue-and-white magic. Join craft.with.clare for a hands-on cyanotype printing workshop at the Barrel Store, using natural light to turn flowers, leaves and feathers into beautiful prints on paper, card and tote bags.

Clare will have a lovely selection of foliage ready to use, but feel free to bring your own flowers or feathers along too.

Grab a pint, get creative, and take something genuinely one-of-a-kind home with you.

TOMACCO TACO: STILL FIRING ON ALL CYLINDERS 🌮

If you've not clocked the sunshine-yellow airstream parked outside The Barrel Store, where have you been? Tomacco Taco, the father and son team also behind Popti Cafe, have been serving up their Baja-inspired street food alongside us for a good while now, and they're not going anywhere.

Handmade corn tortillas, slow-cooked meats, punchy salsas, and a menu that keeps shifting with new specials to try. It's the kind of food that makes you order "just one more" taco, then regret nothing.

Pair it with a pint of fresh Wiper and True beer, brewed a few miles up the road in Old Market, and you've got a proper St Werburghs evening sorted.

GELLI PLATE PRINTING WORKSHOP 🎨

Fancy trying your hand at something new? We've got a hands-on gelli plate printing workshop landing at the Barrel Store, run by Craft with Clare.

Gelli plate printing is a brilliant, playful way into mono printing. Clare will talk you through building up colourful prints in layers, using texture and pattern to create something properly one of a kind. Bring along natural bits and bobs like flowers, feathers, leaves or lace to print with, or feel free to bring your own textures too.

You'll leave with a stack of vibrant prints and a new skill in your back pocket. Fully vegan, and all materials are provided, so just bring yourself.
