And the line-up is complete. 🎯
In case you missed the news - Mr Wolfs is bringing back the outdoor stage for Old City Sounds on Saturday 29th August, with a full day of completely FREE live music on St Nicholas Street. Here's what's in store:
12:00 • BRISTOL NORTHERN SOUL CLUB
Kicking off the day with dancing in the street. Award Nominated Best Event in Bristol four years running, featured in the New York Times, and known worldwide for their atmosphere and viral dancefloor moments.
14:00 • KIMA MOON
Art Rock, experimentation and mind-boggling Glam with major 60s, 70s and 80s influence. King Crimson makes a cup of tea for Fleetwood Mac, spills it on David Bowie whilst Thin Lizzy cleans it up.
15:15 • CHRIS JAGGER & THE TERRAPLANES
Chris Jagger - musician and brother of a certain Rolling Stone - joins forces with Bristol's UK Blues Award winning Terraplanes. A chance meeting, a recording session, and now a very special live performance.
17:00 • JACK BESSANT & THE WOLF PACK
Founding member of legendary 90s alt-rock band Reef. Three decades in - stadium tours, platinum albums, industry awards - now making music that fuses Americana, folk and blues with heavy rock and trip-hop.
18:30 • BITE THE BUFFALO
UK garage-rock duo. Monstrous riffs, stomping drums and macabre melodies. Raw, visceral and uncompromising.
19:45 • TECHNICOLOR STEAM TRAIN
Nine-piece ska-fusion chaos - soul-funk grooves, 2-tone roots and a hip-hop multi-genre frontman conducting the whole thing. Seriously unserious and full steam ahead.
21:00 • JAMBO
Bristol legend. Two decades behind the decks. Glastonbury, Boomtown, Shambala and beyond. His last Old City Sounds set blocked the road, now he's back to do it all again.
