A Final Note from Nova💕
After 12 unforgettable years, the time has come for us to say goodbye with Nova’s transition to a new ownership.
This isn’t just a farewell to a venue, it’s the closing of a chapter that has meant a lot to us. Nova has been our home, our heart, and our creative playground in the centre of Bristol. What started as a bar became a vibrant cultural hub, a space that echoed with music from all corners of the world.
From soulful Kizomba nights every Friday to lively Latin fiestas, Greek and Arabic parties, Afrobeat dance floors, and everything in between, we were proud to host events that brought people together, no matter where they were from. We shared food made fresh with love, and we celebrated the diversity that makes Bristol so unique.
Our open mic nights gave voice to talent across the city, and our tables held countless conversations, stories, and friendships that we’ll never forget. We laughed, we worked hard, we built something special… and most importantly, we built it with you.
To everyone who danced with us, performed with us, ate with us, and supported us: THANK YOU. Nova was alive because of you. And though the space will continue its journey under new ownership, our time here has come to a meaningful and emotional close.
