This weekend! Catch me as the baddest chocolate of the B*tches on the 10th and 23rd of May all over the fringe festival!

End of Danes is a show about transitioning; not in THAT way but I stand in solidarity with anybody living in their truth!

Brighton Festival & Fringe 2026 will run from 1st May to 31st May. Along side it, we are running The Brighton Independent Fringe Festival where you can find loads of great acts doing their shows, so please check our listings. (16th May we have Great Escape Festival for one night day only and its free entry)

We run this as an alternative to the Brighton Fringe. This is a curated event. None of the acts have had to pay a sign up fee and they keep all their ticket money. We do not believe in pay to play events, taking money from the ticket sales or for checking tickets.

This is an independent, artist focused festival. If you want truly support indie artists and venues, this is the place for you!

The Brighton Roast Battle: Rules of the Duel 🔥

The Concept

Two comics. One mic. Zero mercy. A high-stakes Clash of Wits at The Secret Comedy Club, where Brighton’s sharpest tongues trade bespoke insults to see who cracks first.

The Rules

Bespoke Barbs: 100% original burns only. No recycled jokes allowed.

Mental Combat: Strictly wordplay and brutal timing. No physical contact.

The Verdict: A panel of veteran comics breaks down the damage, but the reactions rules the night.

The "Clean Slate"

The sting stays on the stage. Behind the brutal jokes, all our acts are friends. We show our love by roasting each other to pieces, ending every duel with a handshake or a hug.

The Vibe

Hosted at the award-winning Artista, it’s raw, underground, and unapologetically Brighton.

It wasn’t long after audiences were first introduced to hapless sixth-formers Will McKenzie, Neil Sutherland, Jay Cartright and Simon Cooper that The Inbetweeners became one of the nation’s best loved shows.
With its endlessly quotable lines and outrageous laugh-per-second banter, the sitcom attracted record-breaking viewing figures and inspired two incredibly successful feature films.

Celebrating eighteen years since the show’s debut, Joe Thomas (aka Simon Cooper) is here in-conversation all about the series and taking questions from the audience! Hearing all about Joe’s favourite Inbetweeners moments and behind the scenes misadventures, as well as its impact on his own life as an actor/comedian, this promises to be an exciting evening of humour and insight from one of the nation’s best loved young sitcom stars.

We’ll also, of course, be touching on Joe’s other work, including Fresh Meat, White Gold and Taskmaster!
