You can expect an evening of crafting, chatting, customising and generally getting stuck in with like-minded people. Whether you’re a seasoned crafting pro, completely new to it, or somewhere in between, come along and get involved.

At The Cobblestones, we believe our community is about more than music. It’s about having a place where people can come as they are, feel welcome, find their people, and know they’re not alone. Behind the loud music, late nights, tattoos, piercings and alternative chaos, real people are dealing with real things — and sometimes the person standing next to you might be struggling more than you realise.

So today, check in on your mates. Ask how they really are. Listen without judgement. You don’t need to have all the answers, and you don’t need to be able to fix everything. Sometimes simply letting someone know you’re there can mean more than you realise.

If you’re struggling, please talk to someone you trust or reach out for professional support. You matter, your presence matters, and there is always someone willing to listen.

King Parrot are taking over The Cobblestones tonight, bringing Australian grindcore at its most savage, chaotic and relentless to Bridgwater.

Having shared stages with Pantera, Lamb Of God, Power Trip and Amon Amarth, King Parrot have built a reputation for ferocious live shows and full-throttle energy. After major international tours and festival appearances, they're finally bringing the madness to The Cobblestones.

And they're bringing some serious support with them. Chaplain delivers thrashy groove metal, Death Brigade bring blackened death metal fresh off playing New Blood at Bloodstock, and Eproctophilic Necrophile bring the goregrind, with the necrodile in tow.

Four bands. One seriously brutal night. Expect crushing riffs, relentless noise, and pure chaos.

Our classic Open Mic Night is back next week (15th September) at The Cobblestones, bringing another relaxed evening of live music, stripped-back acoustic sounds, creativity, and good company. Hosted by our wonderfully poetic Noddy, the stage is open to everyone, whether you're singing from the heart, gently strumming a guitar, sharing spoken poetry, or bringing along a little comedy set. Everyone gets a chance to perform, all performers receive a free drink, and there are free teas and coffees available for anyone who wants one. Kicking off at 8 pm with completely free entry, come along, settle into the acoustic atmosphere, and enjoy another night of music, words, laughter, and local talent at The Cobblestones.

Not long to go till Daily Thompson are heading to The Cobblestones on 12th October, bringing their heavy indie and alt-rock sound to Bridgwater for a night of big riffs, gritty guitars and seriously loud energy.
