This was start of my journey into pubs and I couldn’t have wished for better. Hannah was the Manager, Katie Bethell and I were her Assistants and Chop was the Head Chef. We built a fantastic opening team and gained more brilliant people along the way (which included Stacey from the Steak & Stamp).

My first love is what we’ve built & achieved in Pencoed with the Little Penybont and Steak & Stamp but if I had a spiritual home, it would be this place. ❤️

There’s a slight clash tomorrow evening with our Wednesday Night Quiz kickoff and another sort of kickoff that some quiz-goers might want to watch instead.

In the spirit of that, we’re calling off tomorrows quiz and save the extra-hard questions (and quiz Prawns) for next week and allow these lot to stop kicking a ball around ⚽️
