Huge thank you to The Haywain for our lovely post match teas after our friendly matches between Bridgend Ladies Hockey Club and Whitchurch Hockey Club. They were lovely and much appreciated after all that running around.

We have collaborated with two local causes;
Lads & Dads Men’s Mental Well-being and Assia Domestic Abuse Service to hold a special event to raise funds and awareness of these worthwhile community groups.

Every ticket purchased will automatically be entered into a draw to win a certified, signed Welsh Rugby shirt.

There will also be an opportunity to purchase additional raffle tickets on the evening to win some other great prizes to include a signed Ospreys shirt, a Haywain meal voucher and many more.

The evenings entertainment will be provided by our good friend ’Just Warnock’, so it’s guaranteed to be a great night.

We have a limited amount of tickets available at the pub or you can call the number on the poster.

Any profits raised will be shared equally between Lads & Dads, Assia and Brackla RFC Mini Magpies

We’re looking for an experienced BAR SUPERVISOR to join our team at The Haywain! 🍻

We have plenty of hours available for the right person.

What we’re looking for:

* Ideally 21+ (younger applicants considered with considerable experience)
* Previous bar/hospitality experience is essential
* Confident supervising and running a team of 4–5 staff at a time
* Good experience managing food orders and table service
* Excellent customer service
* Able to stay organised and keep things running smoothly during busy periods
* Reliable, confident and happy to lead from the front
* Available for evenings and weekends

We’re looking for someone who can come in, take responsibility for a shift and become an important part of the Haywain team. 🖤🤍
