Our choice of dram over the last weekend? 𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐢𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟗. 🥃🌊

The perfect company to hunker down with as the storm rolled across Islay. Matured in ex-bourbon barrels, quarter casks and Oloroso sherry casks - 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞, 𝐲𝐞𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝—a fitting match for the power and beauty of nature at its wildest.
Wind roaring, waves crashing, and a little of that same wild harmony in the glass.. 🥃🥃

Some bottles mean a little more. Bruichladdich’s 1992 “𝐀 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧” is one of them: a 𝟐𝟑-𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫-𝐨𝐥𝐝 single cask from 𝐉𝐢𝐦 𝐌𝐜𝐄𝐰𝐚𝐧’𝐬 treasured “Princess Diana” 𝐂𝐡𝐚̂𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫 cask, marking his farewell to Bruichladdich.

A remarkable wh**ky, and a little piece of Islay history we’ve loved sharing here at 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐲 𝐕𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐭.

We’re down to the very last dram on the bar, so this goodbye deserves a moment.

Unless, of course, there’s another bottle hiding in the depths of our storeroom…

We might just have to take a wee look. 😉

Four Octomores, four ways to play with fire 🔥🥃

🎶 Polyphonic: The 15-year-old symphony—pastry, golden syrup, coffee and a beach bonfire. Just 2,500 bottles.

💥 2026 Distillery Exclusive Single Cask: The chewy peat powerhouse—7 years in bourbon, 307.2 PPM and only 258 bottles. Rich, smoky and gloriously bold.
