We’re delighted to confirm the retention of some key members of our backroom team for the upcoming season 💪

A huge boost for the squad as our S&C Coach Ben continues his work driving standards and performance levels every day.

We’re also pleased to retain Team Manager Huw, remains in place ensuring everything runs smoothly on and off the pitch.

And finally, our physios Rory and Chloe, whose hard work and dedication behind the scenes keep the players fit, healthy, and ready to compete.

Come along between 10am–2pm to see a range of Kubota groundcare machinery on display and available to demo throughout the day. Refreshments will also be available ☕️

Don’t forget we have a touch competition on tomorrow from 2pm. 9 teams have entered so should be a good afternoon of rugby. The bar will be open and the burger van will be serving. Come on down and enjoy the sunshine while watching some rugby. Then afterwards the party is back up the club with DJ Tim Belcher with his disco and karaoke.

If the news of yesterday’s break-in was soul-destroying, today was completely life-affirming.

Brecon RFC showed exactly what every great community club is built on / strength, pride and people willing to turn up when it matters most. Players and members travelled from as far away as Ponty to help clear the pavilion, salvage what could be saved and repair what could be put right in time for Sunday.

The photos barely scratch the surface of the damage caused, but thanks to an incredible team effort helped along by Pauline’s cake, Sharon’s catering and Dai’s now legendary bucket hats, the pavilion is ready for our tournament this weekend.

A huge thank you also goes to Dyfed Powys Police, who have been enormously supportive throughout. Their Scenes of Crime officer worked tirelessly alongside volunteers for the entire day today, and that support has meant a great deal to the club. 👮

Just like buses, we've had no winners for a couple of week's in the Lottery Draw then 3 come along at once! Well done to Paul, Kirsty & Stephen, who share the Second Prize this week.
