After a very successful MWR&BC & Brecon Music event in the Brecon Tap on Sat night with VINCE LEE & SOPHIE LORD, I now move my attention (CLUB) wise to the return of ELIS PENRI to Brecon this time live at The Brecon Tap on September 25th from 9pm with special guest appearance by JUSTIN LEWIS PREECE.

WOW what a truly great MWR&BC & Brecon Music musical adventure at The Brecon Tap on Saturday night with Vince Lee - Blues Guitarist & Sophie Lord over to Paul Keddle for these lovely words ---
I was a bit worried that Vince Lee guitar and vocals plus foot percussion, and Sophie Lord stand up bass, were going to be struggling against a background table noise of people out chatting and enjoying the close ambience of Brecon Tap.
That soon changed when Vince and Sophie hit the room with the first song, an up tempo vigorous blues shuffle.
From then on I could see that the whole table / room realised that a high quality act had landed and they were pulled into an evening of sometimes eclectic but essentially blues music.
Great interpretations of some Tom Waits songs, swing blues and even an instrumental Calypso.
Altogether a great evening of quality music with some deft fretboard ventures and that solid thump of Sophie’s bass.
A class act! Enough said! Paul Keddle The Mid Wales Rhythm and Blues club team member---
