A bit of a serious one tonight - the fabulous Rosie is running the worlds best half marathon on Sunday (and we aren’t biased I promise) in memory of David Miles - someone very close to our Spartans heart 💚 and very much part of our Spartans family.

We know there will be lots of requests for sponsorship for some fabulous charities - so we hugely appreciate anything you can give to help Mind carry out their fantastic work.

More FA Cup football you say?

It’s a big yes from us at the Bottle Bar 💚

With a disappointing result from the lads yesterday, we are hoping to keep the Spartans FA Cup dreams alive with a home match for the lasses today.

Would be amazing to see as many of you there as possible to support the team, support the club and have a great afternoon out!

Plenty of pints, pop and coffee as always (sorry, nee pies today - the baker is having a well deserved day off) but Shield and Skillet are open with a new lunch menu to make sure we are well fed.

Blyth Spartans AFC Community Clubhouse is also open before and after the match to hopefully help celebrate the win 🥇

Club shop will be open from 1-2pm 👕

See you from 1pm for a 2pm KO ⚽️

💚⚽️💚 WHAT. A. WEEKEND. 💚⚽️💚

A fantastic FA Trophy win on Saturday courtesy of Jack Foalle… and then today? Drama. Goals. Clean sheets. Bookings. Sendings off. 😳

And, most importantly… our first league win! Thank you Charlie Wood 👏💚

Meanwhile, over at the Bottle Bar, it was non-stop — and we’ve loved every minute of it. 🥰

So good to have Kathryn Brett back 🩷 and our pie & peas were once again a massive hit. The arrival of the steak pies went down particularly well… so expect to see plenty more of those over the coming weeks. 👀🥧

🍑🚐 And that’s a wrap for the Peachy Vans!
We’ve sold the lot, so we’ll be doing the final count and getting the leaderboard together over the next week or so.

And just when you thought we were done… September’s special is coming. ☀️🌴

And finally… the big question of the weekend, modelled beautifully by our lovely Santosh: seems our supporters quite like getting stuck in and tackling! A big thank you to Willow Brett — who prepped the art work before her weekend away - we missed you! And thank you again to Lorna Lamb who played an absolute blinder today despite a fairly serious case of w**e flu. 😆🍷

Another busy Saturday!! 💚

⚽️⚽️ One day we’ll get to see a match! But until then, we loveeeee hearing a Blyth Spartans cheer - and we were thrilled to hear two yesterday ⚽️⚽️

🥧 🍺 Pints and pies were flying out - the steak ones went down particularly well so we have ordered some more for tomorrow.

It’s been a quick turnaround but we are ready for our early kick off tomorrow against Morpeth Town AFC - and hoping for another great score line for us.
