YOU CAME, YOU DRESSED UP, AND YOU SCARED THE BEJESUS OUT OF US 😱

Well that was a brilliant night, thanks to DJ Lisa and to the regulars for getting stuck in and getting Halloween started early.

Alex has done some adjudicating this morning and his top five were (and not in reverse order).....*drum roll*

First place - Tina
Second place - Guy
Third place - Paul
Fourth place - Ian
And fifth place - DJ Lisa

Great effort everyone and to be honest, it was only Guy who scared the bejesus out of us, as per usual.

🎃 THINGS ARE ABOUT TO GET A LITTLE SPOOKY AT THE BREWERY! 💀🍺

This Thursday, DJ Lisa rises from the dead (well, gets behind the decks) for a Halloween special of our legendary Vinyl Night!

Expect terrifying tunes, monster anthems, questionable dance moves and some serious Thriller action on the world's smallest dance floor. 🧟‍♂️🕺

Fancy dress is very much encouraged. The more ridiculous, the better.

And Alex, no, you can't wear your lederhosen again. Not until you've sorted out that split in the backside. Nobody needs another fright like that.

PIZZA, ROASTS, MUSIC - IT'S ALL GOING ON THIS WEEKEND ⚡⚡⚡

You could indeed make Billericay Brewery your one-stop shop this weekend, as we have pizza from Azure Woodfired Pizza today, roasts from ChapelStreetKitchen tomorrow, followed by live music from local legends, The Law.

After all, what with the weather, it's probably worth hunkering down and staying put.

We might even convert the Snug into a bougie Air BnB for any overnighters. Rick is willing to bring in some blow up beds and Dan can do breakfast and coffee in the morning.

As for Alex, well he's in north Wales and has gone on holiday by mistake.

Hopefully he makes it back tomorrow.

This Saturday, Azure Woodfired Pizza are joining the Billericay Brewery family. And around here, family is everything.

Expect freshly fired pizzas, excellent b**r and absolutely no horse heads in your bed. We've checked.

A GREAT B**R FOR A GREAT CAUSE. 🍻

We're delighted to be pouring Golden Geese, a cracking 4.3% Hazy IPA brewed by our friends at Leigh-on-Sea Brewery in support of the Gold Dads, who are helping children affected by cancer.

And it's a rather lovely drop, too.

Juicy, hazy and bursting with pineapple, mango and citrus, with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel and a gentle bitter finish.

Good b**r doing some good. What's not to love?

Come and raise a glass to a fantastic cause. 💛

GOOD-BYE BELLA, AND GOOD LUCK 💫

Last night we saw the last shift from Bella, who has been part of the weekend team for the last couple of years now at BB.

Courteous, hardworking and always with a smile on her face, Bella really has grown into the role and we shall miss her.

She's also known as THE TERMINATOR - AND GOD FORBID ANYONE WHO TRIES TO LEAVE THE BAR WITHOUT PAYING THEIR BILL!!!

Seriously, she chased Dan down Chapel Street once, with the machine, demanding he pay his £6 tab.

We'll definitely miss that.

But seriously, good luck Bella with your new job in the City, hanging out in yer gillet around Leadenhall Market, sipping Hugo Spritz's on a Thursday night.

And no doubt, you will BE BACK at the Brewery soon.

ONE LAST SLURP OF SUNSHINE ☀️🍇

We really have had a glorious period of weather this year, but the vestiges of summer are beginning to disappear, and autumn is finally taking a grip.

However, if you are still hanging on, may we suggest you partake in a glass of locally produced Pinot Noir Rosé from , or a glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc Reserve from , to be enjoyed in the Out Tap today.

If you close your eyes, you could almost be on the Riviera.

You know, the one down in Torquay.

IT'S A BIT WET TODAY - BUT HAVE NO FEAR, THE OUT TAP IS HERE! 🍻

It is done! The fourth wall was installed earlier this week, and we now have an outside space that's bright and airy in summer and cosy and snug in winter (complete with heaters!).

Thank you once again to everyone involved in bringing this project to life. It really does mean a lot.

And on that note, we think we're going to grab a Polly's, as we're feeling quite emotional...

It's Tap Takeover time again, and this month we're rolling out the welcome mat for the most excellent Polly's Brew Co., all the way from North Wales!
