We’ve been a little quiet this week. Having not been away at all this year or taken a break from work, this was very overdue!

We popped “home” to Puglia, as we had some things to take care of.

We managed to chill in the sunshine. We took a rather cold dip 😅 because it would have been rude not to & ate enough orecchiette to sink a small ship 😉

Quick plate of pasta at the airport, which was 10/10! And managed to get a little work done too!

Now it’s back to work opening Curly Kitchen and getting ready for 2027!

E vaiiiiii 💪🏼

K & L 💍 20•06•2026 📍 Clophill Eco Lodges

Another incredibly hot & humid day with a bit of a downpour halfway through, just for good measure 🙄😂

Kim reached out to us thanks to her amazing planner… Hannah from UK Wedding Planner | At Home & Private Estate Marquee Specialist, originally for evening pizza and mobile bar hire. After an initial chat & site visit we discussed the possibility of catering the whole day…

Turns out we were a pretty good fit! 🫶🏻

Here’s what we did 👇🏼
🍾 Pre & post ceremony drinks provided by K & L, served by us.
🎂 Cakes as canapés! Set up by us. Cakes and bakes made by guests.
🍷 Table w**e provided by K & L
🍽️ Glassware, Cutlery & crockery provided by us.
🍗 BBQ served on wooden boards (of course I was too busy to get a picture 🤦🏻‍♀️)
🥗 Salads & sides served in bowls to share.
🧀 Cheese board / grazing table for dessert!
☕️ Tea & coffee station by us.
🍸 Dina, our mobile bar set up and ready for the evening.
🍕 Pizza to finish!

It was such a beautiful day in a truly unique and equally beautiful venue! Thanks for trusting us with it 🥰

Shout out to a fab supplier team too 👇🏼

About today… ❤️

We were asked to cater a wake for over 200 guests at Bedford Athletic RFC 🏉

When Esme first got in touch, we discussed some menu options for the occasion. The family decided on a finger buffet which would easily cater for their guests. They also wanted to add an extra sweet treat & pizza on the menu.

She also told me about a time when they ordered a Marcello’s special pizza from us and her mum bit down on a large part of it that had chilli on 🥵! Safe to say they then ordered it without 🌶️ from then onwards!

As well as Margherita’s & pepperoni’s for the buffet, we did a Marcello’s special for the family to enjoy in their own time.

Clare, if you see dad up there, get him to make you one 😉

It really was such a beautiful day, filled with so much love. Thank you for asking us to cater for you. Really does mean so much to us.

Also… nice to see a friend too Martina Sharp 😘

I & L 💍 23•05•26 📍 Shortmead House

Post featuring some pics by Tamsin & Kayleigh, The Photography Mill 📸

On one of the hottest days of the year (at that point! There’s been a few more since then 😅)

I & L said their “I do’s” surrounded by their loved ones 💘

They opted for a casual & family style catering service for their day.

We provide a grazing table to start off with. 🧀 🫒 🍇

Cured meats & cheeses. Olives & pickles. They also added our mushroom & mozzarella arancini and chicken liver pate cups too. They tried these at a wedding show they saw us at and just had to have them!

This was followed by our first BBQ of the season! 🍗

Guests had 4 meats to choose from or they could have all 4! Sides and salads to accompany their choices 🥗 🌽 the couple also added halloumi to their menu because, who wouldn’t!

We also catered for all allergies & intolerance.

🌽 anyone?

And just when everyone started getting a little peckish and the evening guests rocked up, we got the pizza ovens out! 🍕

Pizza buffet served for guests to help themselves to slices as they wish.

We also catered for GF & dairy / lactose free pizza too.

I can’t actually tell you how many times I thought about jumping into that pool! 🤭

It truly was the most amazing day, from start to finish! Thank you for trusting us with it 🫶🏻

Wishing you both every happiness in the world 🌍 ❤️

About yesterday… 🌷

A truly special afternoon for a special man, husband, father, grandfather and friend. The theme was bright & colourful… they did you proud Mac.

We catered a simple yet fulfilling buffet which looked great & included something for everyone.

We set up a tea & coffee station for guests to help themselves 🫖

We also had the bar up & ready for anyone that wanted / needed something stronger. 🍻

Thank you for trusting us with your dad’s special send off.

As Freddy said… the show must go on. I’m just grateful I managed to hold in my tears because no one needed to see that yesterday 😅😂
