Ooooh or should I say woooo we’re in CAMRA’s most haunted! 👻👻👻👻. Anyone have any spooky stories of their experiences here at the DSI over the years? We’ve a few - best told over a b**r or two 🍺🍺. Of course the village is best known for its Devil’s Stone and its annual turning outside the church, it’s from where the pub gets its name! CAMRA #👻 **rsnotfears

👻 The Devil's Stone Inn, Shebbear, Devon: the Devil's own stone outside, said to need turning every 5 November to keep bad luck away
👻 The London inn Plympton , Devon: allegedly haunted by Captain Hinds, a naval captain whose story has been lost to time
👻 Rose & Crown, Pluckley, Kent: sits in Pluckley, the Guinness World Record holder for most haunted village in England
👻 The Eclipse Inn, Hampshire: home to the Grey Lady, said to be Dame Alice Lisle, beheaded outside in 1685
👻 The Bull's Head, Earlswood, West Midlands: haunted by a 17th-century lime kiln worker, right on the pub's own Limekiln Lane
👻 The Nag's Head Shrewsbury, Shropshire: keeps a cursed painting locked away upstairs, blamed locally for three tragedies
👻 The Manor House, Rilla Mill, Cornwall: allegedly home to three separate ghosts
👻 The Bear Horsham, West Sussex: a hidden door nobody can explain, and three ghosts of its own
👻 Ceddesfeld Hall 'Home of SCA', Sedgefield, Co Durham: home to the Pickled Parson, who haunted his old rectory for fifty years
👻 The Skirrid Mountain Inn, Llanfihangel Crucorney, Gwent: legend holds as many as 180 hangings took place here
