💔 How do you say goodbye to a place that’s been at the heart of the village for four centuries?

Today, (29th July), will be our final day of trading at The Bell Inn.

This is a decision we never wanted to make, but a perfect storm of soaring rent, rising insurance and alcohol costs, plus essential structural repairs leaves us with no suitable option.

Passing those costs on would have priced out the friends and families who make The Bell what it is.

To everyone who has pulled up a chair by the fire, shared a Sunday roast in the garden or joined our quiz nights... thank you.

Your laughter, loyalty and warmth turned a 17th-century thatched pub into Mo*****gh’s living room.

We will forever treasure the memories made within these low-beamed walls.
