Let’s talk desserts…
While our burnt, fire-baked basque cheesecake is our staple and showstopper…I mean cooked under fire (literally). We have added two more:
1. An old fashioned (yep that classic cocktail) but in jelly form. Still alcoholic and finished with a dark choc and cherry ice cream scoop
2. The brekkie brûlée. Malted milk crème brûlée, crispy chocolate… think flavours of that milk you had left in your cereal bowl when you were younger 👌

What a fabulous evening we had last night. We took our theme night influence from the classic French kitchen. Needless to say, a full house…lots of regular and new faces alike. Plenty of delicious food. How else would you spend a stormy October evening 👌

Wow! Off the back of our win Food Drink Devon | Local food & drink news we have found out we are finalists for Best Pub in Devon South West Tourism Awards Devon Tourism Awards! An award we were lucky enough to win last year 👊.

While we are extremely happy with this news, we are in no doubt that competition is high as there are some fantastic businesses out there who deserve the kudos for their hard work and success too. Well done to all the other finalists and commemorated businesses. We have had a really great year; the ☀️ definately helped!We shall find out the results in early December…watch this space 🤞.
