Sh!t-faced Shakespeare Macbeth

Komedia Bath
🎟️ https://komediabath.co.uk/events/128668284

After a triumphant show last night, we’re thrilled to welcome Sh!t-faced Shakespeare back for 2027.

Make ours a Double-Double because the smash-hit, internationally acclaimed drunken debacle is back! And this time: it's Scottish.

Sh!t-faced Shakespeare swaps beers for Buckfast as they bring the bloodily booze-filled Scottish tragedy Macbeth to a theatre near you! Expect wasted Weird Sisters, drunken King Duncans, and enough damned shots to sterilise a brewery floor.

Featuring a revolving cast of genuinely inebriated performers, no two nights are ever the same. Raise a can of Bard Seltzer to Shakespeare at its most debauched.

Something WKD this way comes...

Hugh Cornwell — Never Say Goodbye: Final Solo Acoustic Tour

As lead singer and songwriter of The Stranglers, Hugh Cornwell wove fact, history and mythology into some of the era's most distinctive lyrics, from a band that balanced experimentation with genuine commercial success across ten albums.

His solo work has produced ten more, most recently Moments of Madness, and this tour will debut songs from its follow-up, Succubus, live for the first time.

Just Hugh, a guitar, and a microphone, songs, stories, and an open Q&A.

"I'm not sure how much longer I can continue to perform, so this will be my final solo acoustic tour."

His last UK acoustic show was 2017. This November in Bath, catch one of the UK's great living songwriters, before the chance is gone.
