Thank you everyone who has bought a number for our Monthly Number Draw, it's had an amazing response, as always 🫶
We just want to give everyone a quick update on why we're doing this and where we are at.
So as you all know the roof repairs are imminent, we are just waiting for the electric wires to be covered a little more so the scaffolding can be completed and then the sun will shine on us and our amazing team of roofers can work their magic 🪄✨
While the scaffolding is up our aim is to repoint the building and give the front a good ol face lift. This includes tidying up the windows, or replacing in some cases. Adding lights and signage too.
As you can guess, this all costs money. And whilst we haven't just raised the roof we've absolutely smashed it, we are continuing to fundraise for all the improvements above PLUS we hope a new heating system.
Whilst we could just share our GoFundMe page and cross our fingers, we want to as always give back and make the community part of the future.
There came the idea of the Monthly Number Draw, £5 per number and the chance of our incredible supportive community winning £150 per month whilst adding £100 each month to our refurbishment pot.
We are also applying for grants too, (after a failed application, we've braved another two) so fingers crossed for us 🤞🏻
Giving one grant application the name "Window Of Opportunity" 🫣😂 for new front windows. So please don't think we're not working just as hard.
There are still numbers left and we the first draw will take place in July so grab your numbers while you can.
