✨✨ FRIDAY UPDATE ✨✨
It’s been a little while since we’ve updated you on the progress of the roof, so we thought we’d share what’s been happening, what’s going on now and what’s still to come! 🛠️
As we’ve said previously, we are SO incredibly lucky to have some brilliant roofers right here in the village, and they are doing a tremendous job across all four roofs. 🙌
We genuinely cannot thank them enough for all their hard work, late nights and weekend hours they’ve put in. We really do appreciate everything you’re doing! ❤️
Over the next day or so, we’ll be taking delivery of more slates for the remainder of the roof — which is SO exciting! 🥳 It means we’re one step closer to getting this huge job completed.
But whilst the scaffolding is up… we’re making the most of it! 👀
🏠 The building is going to be repointed too. This will give the front a much-needed facelift, as it’s definitely starting to look a little worn and very dated!
🎨 We’re also giving the outside a fresh lick of paint. Because, let’s be honest, from the outside it hasn’t exactly been screaming “come in and have a pint!” 😂
And wait… there’s more! 🙌
📍 Brand-new signage is going outside too!
💡 We’re going to be adding more lighting (can we really say more when there’s currently very little? 😂) on the front and up the side, so it’s much easier for people to see that YOUR Club is open!
🪟 And finally, depending on what’s left in the Refurbishment Pot, we’re hoping to get new windows for the front of the building too. This one may have to be a next year project, but it’s definitely on the list!
It’s been quite a journey getting to this point, and we are so incredibly thankful for the tremendous support we’ve received from the village and our wider community. 💙
We’re continuing to fundraise for future projects because, as we all know, there are still plenty of improvements needed to help future-proof YOUR Club for years to come.
☕ We’ll be holding another Coffee Morning at the Masonic in November to help raise funds towards these future projects.
