Today we say farewell to a dear friend, a true well-wisher and pub veteran, Trevor.
Trevor loved his bottle of wine and somehow finished it so quickly that there was never any need for an ice bucket! Often followed by a brandy or a single malt and enjoyed in true Trevor style.
He had a wicked sense of humour and was never short of a naughty joke, usually delivered with that cheeky smile that could make anyone laugh. And then there were his silly toys and little antics that always seemed to appear at just the right moment, bringing laughter and reminding us not to take life too seriously.
His vast knowledge, his kindness and that lovely smiling face brought warmth to so many people. The conversations, stories, laughter, and memories we shared with him will stay with us always.
Trevor may no longer be sitting with us, glass in hand and ready with a joke, but he will always remain with us .
You will be deeply missed, and fondly remembered by everyone lucky enough to know you. So long, farewell, dear friend.
Rest in eternal peace.
