The Ava & Main Street in years gone by!

On this day, 29 October 1892, John Carroll advertised for an experienced barmaid at the Ava Hotel — 134 years ago today!

The address back then was No. 1 Catherine Place. Today, you know us as the Ava on Main Street.

Different century, different drinks menu… same importance of having a great team behind the bar. 🍸🫶🏻
