🎄Christmas at The Rose & Crown is going to be a special one. 🎄

We’ve already received so many enquiries that we’re opening our Christmas diary early. Throughout September, our regulars, neighbours and local businesses can request the menus and secure their preferred dates before bookings open more widely.

🥂 Confirm your booking by 30 September and every adult dining from our Christmas menu will receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival. An alcohol-free alternative will also be available.

From festive lunches and family gatherings to Christmas parties and Christmas Day—we’d love to celebrate with you.

🍕 That’s a wrap on pizzas… for now! 🍕

As the season changes ☔️ and the weather cools down, our regular pizza evenings are coming to an end. ❤️

But if the sunshine makes an appearance, so might the pizza oven! ☀️🍕 Keep an eye out for the occasional pizza pop-up.

We’re also currently working behind the scenes planning some exciting events for the rest of the year! 🔥🎄

🍀BRIDESTONE LIVE THIS THURSDAY🍀

We’re delighted to welcome Bridestone to The Rose & Crown this Thursday 3rd September, bringing you a evening of live Irish music 🇮🇪🍻

They’ll be playing from 7pm, so gather your friends and come join us.

And it’s Steak Night too! 🥩🍷 Enjoy our Thursday night steak special, with a bottle of wine when dining for one or two.

🎉 WHAT A NIGHT! 🎉

Last night we hosted our Summer Quiz in support of two fantastic charities Cardiac Health ❤️ and Mud House Children’s Foundation 🌍

There were plenty of laughs, a bit of healthy competition, lots of fun and, most importantly, we raised money for two brilliant causes.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, took part and helped make the evening such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you!

ROB’S SUMMER QUIZ IS OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT! 🥳👏🏼

We’re looking forward to a brilliant evening of laughs, nonsense, friendly rivalry and a little bit of healthy competition! 😂🏆

We’ll be serving a limited menu on the night, with a choice of:

🔥 South African-style braai plate — veggie option available
🍔 Classic burger & chips
🍕 Any of our artisan wood-fired pizzas

We’ll be lighting the braai early, so we recommend arriving around 6:00–6:30pm to enjoy your dinner, get settled and be ready for the quiz to kick off!
