Sadly The Queens Head will close its doors for the final time on Monday 1st July.
We have tried unsuccessfully to sell the lease for nearly 3 years and the brewery are unwilling to spend any money on the property and so it has been sold to a developer 😞
In our 20 years of tenure ( yes we took over in 2004!) we have survived the smoking ban, three recessions and a pandemic, so sad that the pub will not be taken on by a new landlord.
However we have made lots of friends and memories , won numerous trophies , and hosted many a great party.
Thanks to all of you who have been part of that journey…… it’s been a blast!

Unfortunately The Queens Head will not be open today, we are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
We will reopen on Tuesday 7th as usual.

Our current opening hours are:
Monday - closed
Tuesday 5-9
Wednesday 5-9
Thursday - closed
Friday 530-1030
Saturday 5-10
Sunday 4-9

After nearly two decades, it’s time to say goodbye at The Queens Head.
We’ve made some friends and many memories along the way.
We’d like to thank you all for your custom and our staff for their support over the years, especially during covid and the last few months.
Tonight will be our last night at The Queen’s Head before we embark on a new adventure.
