Baz & Dave and Monochrome Dreams were amazing last night. We can't wait for Bridestone and Waist of Time tonight. Advance tickets no longer on sale as we're into the last day of the festival but don't worry if you didn't buy one, you can get into the pub without 😃 We're also serving our normal menus 12-2 and 6.30-8.30 😋🤤

Autumn is in the air 🍂 here are some of our autumnal decorations including fresh hops 🍻 accompanied by a beautiful poem I found that just about sums us up. Call us on 01420 511247 to make a reservation

The windows glow with amber light Against the chill of coming night,A haven from the driving rain that beats upon the leaded pane.
Inside, the heavy oak is worn,By centuries of laughter torn,Where shadows dance upon the wallAs logs within the hearth fire fall.
The gentle hum of quiet speech,Of lessons only time can teach,The clink of glass, the scent of ale,The winding down of some old tale.
