This handsome village pub looks much the same as it would have when it was built from mellow Cotswold stone some 400 years ago. If you've been around a while, you'll know Shell! 🙂
She's been with us for nearly 10 years, but her ancestral link dates back to the 1800's here when the building was a coaching inn, and Whites of Appleton, the bell hangers was formed 🔔
Shell is a valued member of the front of house team, always willing to lend a hand and also help to keep the pub sparkling clean 🌟
When she's not here, Shell enjoys spending time with her partner Dean and three children, and sipping on a nice cold rose wine❤️🍷

A reminder it's our Charity Dog Walk tomorrow, September 5th 🐾
Meet at 9.30am for complimentary bacon rolls and hot drinks, aiming to leave at 10am for a circular countryside stroll.
We'll arrive back at the pub around 11.30am for a well earned drink or maybe a spot of lunch🍴
All welcome, with or without a dog, and we continue to support Greyhound Trust.

🐾This coming Saturday, September 5th is our next Charity Dog Walk in aid of Greyhound Trust 🐾
Meet at 9.30am for a complimentary bacon roll and hot drinks, aiming to leave at 10am for a countryside walk.

We say Goodbye today to Todd, our Senior Chef de Partie, who leaves us to join his girlfriend, Alex, in Leeds..
Todd has been with us a number of years in between his seasonal trips across European ski resorts as a private chef 👨‍🍳🏂
