The Angel Inn is a 16th century inn set in the picturesque village of Grosmont which lies in border country between Hereford and Abergavenny. The pub is situated on the 'Three Castles Walk' that links Grosmont Castle with White Castle and Skenfrith Castle. It is also on a very popular national cycle route. Landlord, Trevor Woolnough, takes great pride in managing his newly refurbished cellar. Tha

nks to the tremendous support of the local community, a fresh, clear pint is always available. From Easter 2015 a selection of light snacks will be available to complement the ales and locally sourced cider. A roaring log fire in winter and a south-facing terrace with a breath-taking view of the local countryside ensure the Angel is a great place to stop when exploring the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside.

We would like to say a belated, but very heartfelt thank you to all those who helped us get the front of the pub ready for the Beer & Cider Festival last week!

With lots of weeds & dust, but not enough time on our hands, we put a shout out to see if any locals could help us. We know Grosmont is an amazing community that pulls together when needed, but nevertheless we were bowled over by the amount of volunteers who rallied, did an amazing job of weeding, pruning and cleaning, leaving the pub looking as smart as ever.
