Absolutely lovely to see us featured by the British Institute of Innkeeping as one of their Heart of the Community winners. 🍻

The Halfway really does belong to our community as much as it belongs to us — thank you to everyone who supports us, volunteers, visits and gets involved. ❤️

And if you fancy coming along and seeing our little community pub for yourself, we’re open tonight from 6pm, serving our main menu 6–9pm, and tomorrow from 12pm, with Sunday lunches & ploughman’s served 12–6pm.

🍻🚴 TWO PINTS DEEP – CYCLING FOR A GREAT CAUSE 🚴🍻

We’ve got some very special visitors at The Halfway right now! ❤️

The team are cycling to 50 remote pubs across Wales and England during August, raising money for Two Pints Deep — a su***de prevention charity made for the average man, by the average man.
They’re doing fantastic work encouraging men to talk, check in with each other and helping to prevent su***de. 💙

They’ve kindly left us some Two Pints Deep beer mats too, so next time you’re at the pub, have a look and scan the QR code to find out more or make a donation.

If you can spare a few quid, please support them — every donation helps a brilliant cause.

🗺️🔎 TREASURE HUNT THIS SUNDAY IN RAGLAN! 🔎🗺️

Fancy a bit of an adventure this Sunday? Get your team together and take part in a scenic Treasure Hunt, raising money for St Cadoc’s Church, Raglan. ❤️

📅 Sunday 9th August
⏰ Starts at 2.30pm
📍 Setting off from Chepstow Road Car Park, Raglan

Follow the clues, enjoy the scenic route and see if you can work out where your adventure will eventually take you… 👀🤫

And there’ll be a buffet waiting for you at the finish! 🍽️

🎟️ Tickets are still available:
Adults – £15
Children 7–18 – £7.50
Children 6 & under – FREE

Tickets are available from Extons, Raglan High Street until 5.30pm on Saturday.

Suitable for a wide range of ages and a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon — with a little mystery thrown in!

☀️ Another beautiful weekend is here, and we've got plenty happening at The Halfway, Tal-y-Coed Pub & Community Hub 🍻🌿

Open from 4pm
From 6pm we're delighted to welcome Aga farm with their incredible Street Food Friday menu, featuring 100% grass-fed heritage beef burgers, minted lamb burgers and prime pork sausages, all made from locally reared, high-quality meat. We'll also have a FREE sides table with potato salad, coleslaw, fresh salad and more.

✨ The fantastic Josh Hooper Magic will be with us from 6:30pm, amazing everyone with his brilliant close-up magic.

No need to book – just turn up, grab a drink, enjoy the sunshine and soak up the relaxed atmosphere.

We're delighted to welcome AGA Farm, bringing you incredible locally reared, farm-fresh food!

🐄 6oz Heritage Beef Burger – £9
Made from their own 100% grass-fed Angus, Hereford & Belted Galloway cattle.

🐑 Prime Minted Lamb Burger – £9
Home-bred native lamb with a delicious hint of mint.

🌭 Prime Pork Sausages (2 large sausages) – £9
Made using Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs.
