Many people choose to give up on their dreams because of fear of failure, but yearn for something more. Metaphorically, a lot of us feel chained up in one form or another. These chains can be the result of external forces or self-imposed. The symb

olism of a Stray Dog is the will to break free from these chains and venture out into the unknown. It represents freedom and defiance of a life of confinement and taking the risk to do something great even if it means leaving the security of the current life you’re living. The road ahead is unknown, but you’ll never know what possibilities lie ahead unless you venture out.

Grab your bestie and a beer, we've got lots brewing this week ☀️

🎸 is back in the taproom Tuesday evening playing your favourite hits. If you're lucky he'll take your requests 🍻 no cover

🧠 Wednesdays are for trivia - Sign up required, email [email protected] starting at 8am Wednesday with your team name and size to claim your spot. Free to play, prizes available. Game starts at 6:30pm

🎶 Thursdays are Open Mic Nights - Show up and sign up at 7pm. Show starts at 7:30, hosted by every week

🎤 This Saturday .laxton is hosting 613 SOUL in our parking lot, the first in a series of free soulful neighbourhood concerts taking place across the city. The daytime show runs 4:30-6:30, and Mikhail will host a more intimate showing with and at 8pm in the taproom. Tickets for the evening show are $20 at the link in our bio, and $25 at the door.

🌮 is back with their birria tacos on Saturday, they'll be slinging tacos 12:30-5:30 in the back of the brewery

🎸 is back for Yappy Hour on Sunday from 3-5

We'll also be serving offsite in Kingston 1pm-8pm on Saturday and selling cans at at Ray Friel 10-3pm Saturday

🎸 Starting this week, will be playing in the taproom on Tuesdays, join us for 80s covers and a good time, weekly between 5-7pm

🧠 Email [email protected] after 8am Wednesday to reserve your spot for trivia. Always free to play, prizes awarded to the winning team. Game starts 6:30ish pm

🎤 Open mic night is back, hosted by every Thursday. Sign up starts at 7, show starts by 8

🐶 is hosting their annual Pups and Pints mini market in our parking lot this Sunday between 11-4. Stop by for pet treats, merch, services and rescues, with treats for humans too 🍭 will be playing in the taproom 11:00-1:30 & 3-5

We'll be also be:

🍻 pouring offsite at the Friday & Saturday between 4-11pm. Visit our booth for a special brew not available in the taproom 🌴

🥕 selling beer cans to our pals in Metcalfe at the Saturday 9am-1pm

🎸 If you've ever been to an Open Mic night here at Stray Dog, you've probably experienced Redial, Mike Ish and Peace Tower, all of which will be performing this Friday night starting at 6pm - no cover, just good vibes and fun tunes
