Our friends Brett, Andrew, and Mitch recently lost their home in a house fire, taking with it a space that meant so much to so many in Calgary's music community. Their home became a gathering place for musicians, a creative hub, and the home base for Pool Boy Studios.

On June 3, the King Eddy is hosting Up in Smoke: A Housefire Benefit to surround them with love and community. Featuring performances by Jaiden Riley & the Cry Babies, Kayla Williams Music, Paeton Cameron Music, and Brett Cassidy Music.

Show starts at 7:30. No cover, but donations will be gratefully accepted at the door and online.

Starting June 1, the King Eddy is open 7 days a week for the summer, and we're kicking things off with a brand new weekly live music experience. Alberta singer-songwriter Paeton Cameron Music hosts a weekly house band every Monday from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, collaborating with some of Calgary's finest musicians for a fresh selection of folk, blues, and Americana hits each week.

No cover, and happy hour food and drink specials from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
