We have a pretty awesome Friday night planned round these parts, and invite you to join us. Firstly, Chef Nath will be down in the pizza oven whipping out those wood-fired beauties from 5-8pm (or until sold out). On the pizza menu this week is Supreme, BBQ Chicken and Al Funghi (mushroom, truffle, various cheeses, and other secret special goodies). Once they're sold out, they're sold out unfortunately so don't dilly dally if you want some. We will have takeaway boxes too.

Secondly, The Tavern People's Choice Trophy award winner Oliver Debus is coming down to play. If you were here at Cracker Night, then you know. If you weren't, then come down and you too will also then know. He's excellent.

Our Bistro will be pumping out its usual yumminess and your last chance to grab some Chunky Satay Chicken or that very tasty Lamb & Barley Soup. You can expect the bangers to stay around for a while as you guys just love them! We will probably swap flavours in a sec, so if you love the pork and fennel come on down for a plate of bangers.

Meat Tray Raffles and top notch bar service are a given. We can't wait to see you!

Bangers & Mash are back. This time it's the Pork and Fennel variety. House made onion gravy, creamy mash and plenty of green peas. Yum.

Chunky Chicken Satay skewers (with medium kick), served on a bed of rice with a little fresh asian crunch on top.

And then there is the soup. Don't underestimate this one as it's a hearty bowl of nourishment. Lamb Shanks cooked for eons, seasonal veg and pearl barley. Served with a side of Turkish and some of the best butter money can buy.

Running for the next fortnight or so. Happy devouring folks!

Some fresh specials will be waiting for you in our Pub Bistro from lunch today and they'll be sticking around for 2 weeks. Firstly, something for our Vegetarian friends (we know you have been neglected in our specials thus far...we are sorry, we promise this one makes up for it)

A Red Pesto & Tomato Passata Roast Veg Pasta - our first vegetarian special. It's rich with olives, roast pumpkin, roast capsicum, pinenuts, fresh rocket & fetta.

Black Pepper & Beef Pot Pie. You have have with a side of chips or salad. You choose!

Nepalese Chicken Curry - an authentic curry from our nepalese chef with lots of fresh herbs, spices, vegetables and chicken thigh slow cooked to perfection. Served on a bed of Basmati!

Music tonight is with the glorious Lucy Watson. She'll be tucked in to the corner with her guitar from 5pm.

Some more rustic pub specials have rolled out of the kitchen this week and they're beckoning you to pop in and relax in the sun with a coldie in hand.

Lamb Ragu with Pappardelle - slow cooked, falling apart local lamb with a sprinkle of Parmesan.

Duck Maryland with a Red Thai Curry Sauce (complete with lychees, thai basil & cherry tomatoes) on a bed of Basmati Rice.

Cottage Pie with a Crispy Side Salad (or chippies if you are a dipping type) - grass fed, local.

All made in house with lots of love and good vibes!

We can all calm down because Lamb Shanks are finally here folks. What is winter without them? Tender and hearty, served over a bed of mash, with a side of peas and a healthy dose of our house made red wine jus. You also have the option of adding on another shank if one just isn't enough. Mr Migan tested the first one and gave it his tick of approval.

We've also got a start of Sticky Chipotle Wings that we are testing for our permanent menu, so come and let us know what you think.

Oh and a house made Panang Chicken Curry, a coconutty, thai flavoured bowl of yumminess over Basmati Rice.

It's all available to take away too.

And Guess who's back on Friday night? The Friday by the Fire fave Troy Henderson. Get in early if you want a seat. The man does create a vibe.
