Today, we pause to say thank you to those who have served our country, past and present.

Our restaurant holds a meaningful connection to Anzac Day. Applejack owners Ben Carroll & Hamish Watts each honour their grandfathers, both of whom served during WWII.

Keith ‘Bopp’ Evans served in the Royal British Navy as Skipper of a Mine Sweeping vessel during WWII, stationed in the Mediterranean.

Anthony ‘Tone’ Adams served as a Wireless Operator in RAAF Bomber Command, Royal Australian Air Force.

Both Bopp & Tone served in different ways, sacrificing and experiencing things beyond imagination. Their service helped shape the country we know today, and we are deeply grateful to all who serve and protect our way of life.
