A new local—Heist, South Melbourne
Heist has opened on the ground floor of our Melbourne HQ at 122 Moray. It’s the latest venue from Glen Bagnara and Philippe Perrey, our tenant partners behind Clementine. Gourmet Traveller has already named it among the best new cafés to bookmark for your next morning out. We stopped by to ask Glen everything from his top three dishes to his favourite design feature. Behind the build—The delivery team
You know Steve by now. This time, he’s shining a light on the team behind him. As Head of Delivery, Steve Boulos leads our national project management team, working alongside development to bring every project to life, safely, on time and to the standard Fortis is known for. Eighteen months ago, we brought project management fully in-house. Since then, this team has played a critical role in taking a project from concept through to completion.

On site—Verano, Rose Bay
With bulk excavation now complete, Verano has reached the base of the site. Daniel Leaf, Senior Project Manager, shows us the full twelve metres down, through solid sandstone cut away to reach this point. Breaking ground together—One Four Four Hutt, Adelaide

On the water—White Water, Manly
Few buildings get to call Manly Beach their outlook. With the scaffolding beginning to come down, White Water’s façade is starting to emerge—paint and finishing touches still to come, but the form is there. Office space is taking shape across the lower levels, with hospitality tenant partners to occupy the pedestrian level. Directly on the water and nearing completion. Stay tuned.

Close up—The Gild, St Kilda
Last week, we welcomed guests to The Victorian Pride Centre for an evening focused on the next chapter of The Gild.
