🏆 Congratulations to Samantha Hogerheyde from Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club

As Sailing Coordinator and Senior Instructor at Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club, Samantha (Sam) Hogerheyde has shown outstanding leadership, innovation and dedication to developing sailors, instructors and the broader sailing community.
Through engaging and accessible sailing programs, Sam has introduced many people to the sport while creating an inclusive environment where participants of all ages and abilities can thrive. Her efforts encourage long-term involvement, retain sailors as club members, and embody the club's friendly and welcoming culture.
Sam's commitment has been instrumental in building a successful and sustainable sailing program that continues to strengthen the club and its community.

Check out our Junior Sailors in action on the water at the 2026 Offaly Civil Engineering Round 2 Regatta Series. The conditions were difficult, with a strong incoming tides and light winds. This made for some challenging and close racing, with many finishes being only seconds apart.

Last Saturday saw the second session in the 2026 Offaly Civil Engineering Junior Race Series. The conditions were difficult, with a strong incoming tides and light winds. This made for some challenging and close racing, with many finishes being only seconds apart.
