Established at King Street Newcastle in 2015, FogHorn Brewery brings fresh, innovative craft beer and high quality locally sourced food to the heart of the city. FogHorn serves beer direct from the tank, right next to the brewery - you can’t get any fresher than that. Staying true to the industrial roots of the town and the building itself, Foghorn Brewhouse features an 1800 Litre Brewery, 4 1800 litre serving tanks and a bar/restaurant with seating for up to 250. This month we’re keeping things local with Earp Distilling Co. Just Juniper Gin, distilled right here in Newcastle.

Made with just one botanical, juniper, it’s an elegant yet robust gin with peppery, citrus, piney and subtly sweet berry notes.

We’re pouring it two ways this month: in our fruity Berry Fizz or keeping things classic with a G&T.

Meet Shawn 👋🍻

The face behind the brewery and Foghorn’s Chief Brewing Officer.

Shawn has been brewing for more than 20 years and has been brewing commercially since 2006. Before opening Foghorn, he spent years brewing award winning, full flavoured beers, earning the title of Australian Brewer of the Year in 2012.

Foghorn Brewery is the result of years spent exploring the local and international craft beer scene, and a dream of bringing a brewery to Newcastle.
