It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Slice Virtual Golf has permanently closed down. After 9 great years of being on King Street, we unfortunately had some rental disagreements which forced us to close our doors. Thank you to everyone who supported us along the way, whether you found the establishment towards the end or have been a regular for years, it was an amazing ride.

We are looking for someone who is hard-working and punctual and has their Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) or is willing to obtain an RSA. We are looking for someone who would be willing to work weekend shifts, predominately Friday and/or Saturday nights. The shifts are not set, we roster every week depending on availability of staff.

The job requires you to:
- Have outstanding customer service
- Pour beers from a tap and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Have the confidence to setting up groups of customers in games of virtual golf
- Use an online POS system and EFTPOS machine
- Collect cash and provide the correct change
- Preparing, cooking and serving a variety of pizzas to customers
- Ensure bar and kitchen fridges are fully stocked
- Cleaning duties

Experience in bartending and customer service would be favoured but not necessary as it can be taught along the way. Knowledge and interest in golf would be suitable but is not essential for the job.

With the reopening of our Slice Virtual Golf Bar we have put in place a COVID-19 vaccination policy in line with NSW State Government regulations. We require all guests over the age of 16 to provide our staff with proof of vaccination or medical exemption in order to enter our venue. Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult from their household who is fully vaccinated for the entirety of their time in our venue. If customers are unable to provide proof of vaccination or exemption, under the NSW Government guidelines, we will not be able to allow entry into our venue due to financial penalties for the guests and the business. From December 1st, under the guidelines, all guests can attend unvaccinated. We will keep you updated on relevant information from the NSW State Government and any changes they might make. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

UPTDATE ON RE-OPENING
After seeking further advice regarding the COVID-19 Safety Plan, we unfortunately will not be able to re-open until we hit 80% vaccination rate. At the moment this is predicted to be around the 25th of October.
