September 9–12, 2026: This week we're moving through some very different chapters of popular music all just MADE for dancing!

We begin on Thursday 10 September with CHASING THE MOON, playing their distinctive blend of gypsy jazz, swing and French chanson. Drawing inspiration from the great jazz and cabaret traditions of Europe, they bring gorgeous vocals, acoustic guitar and double bass together for a sophisticated evening of vintage swing.

On Friday 11 September, ALBUM SHOW PRESENTS: THE MUSIC OF THE BEE GEES celebrates one of the great songwriting catalogues in pop music. Long before the white suits and disco years, the Gibb brothers were writing extraordinary songs, and this show follows their music across the decades, from those early harmonies through to the huge hits that made them global superstars.

Then on Saturday 12 September, we're turning everything up.

80'S ROCK ARENA brings the big hair, big guitars and even bigger choruses, with the music of Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Joan Jett, Tina Turner, Heart and more. Three hours of unapologetic 80s rock, and absolutely a night for singing along.

Or spend your Saturday DANCING IN THE SHADOWS OF MOTOWN, celebrating the music that came out of Detroit and changed popular music forever. With the songs of The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations and many more, this is a night of timeless soul, fabulous vocals and a catalogue of hits that still fills a dancefloor.

And don't forget, our weekly LIFE DRAWING SESSIONS run every Wednesday evening with a live model and live music. Everyone's welcome, whether you've been drawing for years or are keen to get started.

From an intimate Thursday night to a Saturday made for turning up the volume and hitting the dancefloor, there are four very different ways to spend an evening with us this week.

Now THIS is going to be a great Saturday night.
Dancing In The Shadows of Motown is back at Camelot Lounge with a new-look show and even more of that extraordinary Motown catalogue.

The All Star band brings together some of Australia’s most accomplished singers and musicians for the music of Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Martha and the Vandellas, Four Tops, Jackson 5 and more.

And the songs just keep coming.

80’s Rock Arena is three hours of the songs that made the ’80s so much fun. Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Joan Jett, Tina Turner, Heart and plenty more.

And there’s a serious band behind it.

This Friday night, Album Show celebrates the remarkable music of the Bee Gees.

Few groups have left behind a catalogue quite like this one. Brilliant songwriting, unmistakable harmonies and songs that have stayed with us for generations.

Anthony Snape, Peta Caswell, Paul Hakim and Michael Carpenter bring these songs to Camelot Lounge, with the beautiful vocal harmonies at the heart of the Bee Gees sound front and centre.

SHOW SPOTLIGHT: 🌙
This Thursday night, Chasing The Moon are bringing their gorgeous mix of European and Latin jazz to Camelot Lounge.

Led by Kathy Bluff on violin and vocals and Paul Burjan on saxophones and flute, this is a wonderful six-piece band with accordion, guitar, double bass and drums rounding out the sound.

There’s plenty of that romantic, continental sound that makes you feel like you could be sitting somewhere in a little European bar with a glass of w**e in hand.

ABC Radio’s Simon Marnie described them as “like walking through a music festival in a European village”, which sums them up rather beautifully.

If you love beautiful musicianship, swinging rhythms and music with a little European sparkle to it, come and spend Thursday night with us.

Hello friends! For any Sydney-siders planning on coming to our impromptu Leonard Cohen birthday soirée, you’ll need to make haste! (We only put tickets on sale yesterday, and already this intimate celebration is 3/4 sold out!)

We also can’t wait to revisit some tunes that are no longer part of the Cohen Noir show, as well as explore a couple of new arrangements, while celebrating Leonard Cohen’s life, music and words.

So come and raise a glass or two with Monsieur Camembert, some surprise guests, and a bunch of fellow Cohen devotees!
