The busy season may be winding down, but that makes for plenty of time to enjoy a relaxed meal with us. ❤️

Whether it’s a leisurely lunch, a catch-up over something delicious, or a special evening out, we’d love to welcome you to Bali Hai.

Wednesday – Sunday
🍴 Lunch: 12pm – 2pm
🌙 Dinner: from 5pm

With things a little more relaxed now, it’s the perfect time to slow down, settle in and enjoy good food, good company and the Bali Hai experience.

🌟 We are still on the look out for kitchen hands 🧽

We can offer 2 to 5 nights per week depending on what applicants are looking for. Shifts are from 4.30pm until approximately 10pm and some day time hours could be available for someone looking for full time hours.
Duties include:
- Dish cleaning and polishing
- Basic food prep
- Upkeeping cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
- Following kitchen procedures

Good hygiene, organisations skills, precision and fast pace are vital for this role. Immediate start required.

🚨 Bali Hai Cafe & Restaurant will be closed today 🚨

We have made this decision to give our chefs a well deserved (and much needed) day off. We will be back tomorrow for lunch 12pm to 2pm and dinner from 5pm.
We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

We wanted to let our valued customers know about a few temporary changes to our trading hours.

Due to the ongoing shortage of chefs, we have made the difficult decision to close for **Monday and Tuesday lunches** until further notice. This wasn't an easy decision, but it will help us continue providing the quality food and service you expect during our busiest trading periods.

We will also be **closed on Tuesday 11 August and Saturday 15 August** as our team will be catering for **Lady's Day** and the **Broome Cup**. We made our commitment to this catering at a time when we had a full kitchen team in place. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen chef shortages, we are unable to operate both services to our high standards.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support. We look forward to welcoming you for dinner service and on our other trading days.

We are a popular casual fine dining restaurant and are looking for someone who will blend well in our small, friendly and passionate team.
Essential qualities for the role include:
- Qualified Chef or extensive experience
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role
- Passion for producing consistently outstanding quality dishes
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Good knowledge of flavours and cooking techniques and desire to learn more
- Experience in entree’s and pastry will be highly regarded as will grill experience

The below qualities are essential for the role:
- Team player who is able to take instruction as well as work independently managing their own section
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Ability to communicate effectively with both kitchen and front of house team
- Knowledge of HACCP and professional kitchen standards
- Good personal hygiene and well presented
