🏆🎱 South of Perth Snooker Tournament - Done and Dusted! 🎱🏆
What a weekend of snooker!
It was a hard couple of days at the table, requiring plenty of focus, concentration, and determination, with more than a few tense moments along the way. There were some great shots, plenty of laughs, and of course the occasional mumble under the breath when things didn't quite go to plan.
The standard of competition was outstanding, and every match presented its own challenge.
Saturday kicked things off with the qualifying rounds, where players battled it out to secure their percentages and positions heading into Sunday's knockout stage. The atmosphere was fantastic, with lots of laughs, friendly banter, and great sportsmanship throughout the day.
Then came Sunday... and that's when the pressure really started to build.
We began with 16 players, all fighting for a place in the next round in a series of best-of-three matches. Before long, the field was cut to eight, then down again as the competition intensified.
This brought us to the Semi Finals.
By this stage, fatigue was definitely starting to set in. After two days of intense focus and concentration, and with Sunday's play starting at 9am, the semi-finals didn't begin until around 4pm.

It was Albany versus the visitors, with a place in the final on the line. The best-of-five semi-finals produced some fantastic snooker, with every player leaving it all on the table.
When the dust settled, the finalists were decided:
🏆 Rocky vs Raymond 🏆
The final was set to be a battle for the ages, played over a best-of-seven format. Both players dug deep and produced some quality snooker, but in the end Rocky held his nerve and came out on top, claiming the trophy and prizes.
