Happy Pinot Grigio Day!

Originating from the Pinot family, Pinot Grigio is typically crafted in a fresh, light-bodied style, with crisp acidity and flavours of pear, green apple, and citrus.

We're celebrating the occasion with the 2024 Quealy 'Feri Maris' Single Block Pinot Grigio, from Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. This "excellent" Pinot Grigio received 95 points from Jane Faulkner for the Halliday Wine Companion, describing it as "swinging between citrus and lithe acidity to texture and creaminess. Lots of flavour from vanilla-pod-infused pears, fresh galangal and oyster shell brininess with a hint of smoky-woodsy goodness. The fuller-bodied palate unfurls beautifully; it’s rich, but not too much, and the finish lingers long."

Currently available to taste and purchase in our Tasting Room.

Happy World Moscato Day! Made from Muscat grapes, among the oldest cultivated varieties, Moscato is typically light in alcohol with a gentle sweetness and vibrant notes of orange blossom, jasmine, lychee, and fresh grapes.

Today we spotlight one of our favourites: the 2024 Wangolina 'Birds of a Feather' Moscato from Limestone Coast SA.

Tasting Notes: Made from Muscat Blanc a Petits Grains (Frontignac) grapes grown in the Limestone Coast. Lime zest, geranium florals & meyer lemon aromas. The palate is a sherbet bomb with a revitalising & cleansing finish.

This beautiful bottle is available to purchase directly from our online wine store, visit https://nationalwinecentrestore.com.au/.
