A few lovely words from a wonderful client I’ve had the pleasure of working with, alongside a little glimpse of one of their finished brands.

There’s always so much more to a branding project than what you see in the final visuals. The conversations, ideas, stories and little details that gradually shape a brand into something that feels completely its own.

I loved bringing this project to life, and hearing how the finished brand felt from the client’s perspective makes it even more special.

Shouldn’t your brand have a little personality?

It’s rarely just the logo.

A little colour story from a brand identity I’ve been working on with my client.

Juicy Gooseberry, soft Sugarplum, punchy Vintage Coral and deep Pomegranate, balanced with a warm, paper-like Letter.

A palette with plenty of personality, unexpected combinations, a little nostalgia and just the right amount of bold.

Colour is one of my favourite parts of building a brand. It can completely shift how a brand feels, often before you’ve read a single word.

Beginning to craft the visual brand identity for a new project on the wonderful Greek island of Kefalonia.

Nestled amongst the lush green hills North of the Island, overlooking the Ionian Sea towards Ithaca, this collaboration is already shaping up to be something very special.

From feeling like a business that had outgrown its brand… to a brand that finally reflects where the business is going.

When Emma from Emma Young Interiors, based in Edinburgh, came to Ima Studio Design, her business had grown, but her branding no longer reflected the level, ambition or experience behind it.

The objective was to create a brand that felt professional, established and completely aligned with Emma’s ideal client - one that would give her the confidence to show up at the level her business had reached.

A brand collaboration capturing the soul of . 🌿🐆
Nestled in the heart of the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, in the Greater Kruger region, Ujima is not just a boutique lodge, it is a turn-key wellness safari experience where luxury seamlessly meets the wild.

From the handcrafted typography to the earthy, organic colour palette, every single design element was created to reflect the raw beauty of the South African bushveld.
Think free-roaming giraffes right outside your private outdoor shower, sunset dips in the infinity pool, and intentional spaces designed for deep mindfulness and connection.

Our goal was to bottle up that exact feeling of raw elegance and sustainable luxury, creating a brand identity that feels both deeply grounded and effortlessly high-end.
