Grotto beach is one of the most striking South African beaches and has Blue Flag status. With a picturesque view of the ocean, the backdrop of Olifantsberg becomes illuminated as the sun sets. There is no doubt that Dutchies is surrounded by the exquisiteness of nature. Owned by Joke Gonggrijp and her son Daan, their desire is to share the many experiences this unique spot has to offer with you. Not only is the view truly breathtaking, but the menu offers a range of dishes from freshly cooked seafood, a touch of Dutch cuisine, tapas, sushi and an extensive cocktail and wine list.

Join us for our “rice table” feast spread across the table, with dishes meant to be shared slowly and generously. Swipe to see the red book that started it all, filled with Indonesian recipes and owned by our very own Joké’s mother-in-law, who spent most of her childhood in Indonesia 📖

On the table, you’ll enjoy a feast of Nasi Goreng, Satay, Gado-Gado, Rendang, Ayam Goreng, Nasi Padang, Ikan Bakar (grilled fish) and Sop Buntut (Oxtail soup) 🍚

Bring your loved ones to enjoy the feast, every Thursday until the end of November ✨
