A huge thank you to all the Yuma residents and golfers who joined us for the ribbon-cutting and reopening celebration of Arroyo Dunes Par 3 at Desert Hills Golf Course on Saturday, December 13. Your support and enthusiasm made the day truly special.

We were proud to celebrate the return of Arroyo Dunes following irrigation improvements that enhance water conservation and playability, and even more excited to kick things off with a fantastic community tournament. Congratulations to all who participated in the Two-Person Scramble, and thank you for supporting our Junior Golf programs, which help grow the next generation of golfers in Yuma.

We appreciate everyone who came out to celebrate, play, and be part of this milestone. We look forward to seeing you back on the course soon!

New irrigation, upgraded bunkers, refreshed landscaping, and beautifully improved fairways and greens are ready for golfers to enjoy.

We also visited the newly renamed Arroyo Dunes Par-3 Course — featuring major upgrades and a brand-new bridge!

Desert Hills Golf Course and the Desert Hills Par 3 Course are officially OPEN and ready for golfers to enjoy! 🙌

Thank you to everyone for your patience while we prepared the courses — we truly appreciate the community’s support during the closure.

Landscaping efforts are now underway as we continue to enhance and fine-tune the course conditions. 🌿

Grab your clubs, enjoy the fresh greens, and we’ll see you out on the course! 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

⛳ Desert Hills Irrigation & Bunker Update! 🛠️
Hey, Yuma! Eric and Chris are back with an exciting update from Desert Hills Golf Course.

✅ The Par-3 irrigation work is nearly complete
✅ Nine holes remain open on the main course during construction
✅ The driving range is temporarily closed and will reopen soon
✅ Brand-new bunkers are being installed — featuring PGA-level Z-Line material, drainage systems, and fresh white sand for a better playing experience!

💧 The upgrades mean no more standing water in the bunkers, better drainage, and a top-tier course for our golfers to enjoy.

We appreciate your patience as we continue improving your course. See you on the green! 🏌️‍♂️🌿

⛳ We’re Open During Construction! 🚧

Desert Hills Golf Course is currently undergoing exciting improvements—but we’re still OPEN and ready for play!

To keep the course available, only 9 holes will be closed at a time during construction. The other 9 will remain open, so you can still enjoy a full golfing experience with minimal interruption.

Tee times, practice areas, and amenities are available as usual. We appreciate your patience as we work to enhance the course for our community.

Come out, play a round, and check out the progress!
