Jake Matthew Rivers doesn’t sound like anyone else on our calendar.

Using cello, voice, and live looping, Jake builds each song layer by layer, pulling from rock, blues, and classical influences to create something cinematic, immersive, and completely his own. He’s the kind of performer who can change the entire feel of the room within a few notes.

The King George is closed tonight for a private event, but we’ll be back tomorrow night with The Visitors Duo taking the stage at 8PM. They blend acoustic arrangements with dynamic vocals and a polished pop sound, giving familiar songs a fresh take and a fun, new energy, making it impossible not to grab another cocktail and settle in for the night. If you somehow still haven't joined us on a second Saturday, you’ll have plenty more chances...we're very excited to announce they’re staying with us for every Second Saturday through 2027!

The King George is closed tonight, but there’s more coming downstairs very soon...

Mark your calendars, because beginning on October 1, Thursdays will officially become part of the regular lineup. The King George will be open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6–11PM, with Open Mic & Karaoke still taking over only the second and fourth Thursdays each month.

We’ll be back for Open Mic & Karaoke on Thursday, September 24, with Erin Levine calling the shots, and $9 Tito’s Espresso Martinis keeping the courage flowing all night.

Tonight may be quiet, but October is about to get a lot louder.
